Getting started
When you enter the game for the first time, you do not yet own a company. Therefore, your portfolio list will be empty. Select the “Portfolio” tab to get into your portfolio list. You can own more than one company with some restrictions which will become apparent later.
To create your first company, the game provides you with the initial capital amount of 20,000 VC (Virtual Currency). This initial amount is enough to create only one company. Click the “Create Company” button under the company list to create a company.
You need to provide with a unique ticker symbol (some day you will be able to trade shares of your companies), name your company and select an industry from the list. Currently "Livestock", "Dairy" and "Meat products" industries are available, though new industries are created over time. Along with the industry description, the required capital to create a company in the industry is displayed in the list. Only the industries for which you have adequate capital to enter are available for choosing.
